October 18th, 2009 was a great day for Inland Northwest Action Shooters and the Gonzaga University ROTC Bulldog Battalion. Cadets were invited to an exclusive private shooting match/instruction clinic put on by volunteers from Inland Northwest Action Shooters. The match raised nearly $100 for the 1LT Forrest Ewens Memorial Scholarship Fund.
The cadets started out by attending a comprehensive safety briefing and training session introducing them to the various firearms used in the match. Shooting began promptly thereafter and cadets shot four interactive stages including a shotgun/pistol stage and two rifle/pistol stages.
This match provided a unique opportunity for the ROTC cadets to learn skills which they would not otherwise have been exposed to in their regular military training.
Thanks to all INAS volunteers for your commitment to supporting these future military leaders. The match would not have been a success without your help.
